New session starts on 15th January 2015Winter Break for Preschool Spark starts from 22nd December 2014 till 14th January 2015. School reopens on 15th January 2015 (Wednesday). Enrollments are on for the Preschool Programs – Young Explorers (2-3 years) and Little Explorers (3-4 years).

Christmas Carnival on 17th December 2014In our endeavor of sharing the story behind the festivals with the kids, and helping them understand various rituals for each festival, we will be celebrating Christmas Carnival on 17th December 2014 (Wednesday) in our school premises. The day will be filled with activities and fun-games for kids. We would have a special drama for the kids depicting the story of Jesus Christ and why we celebrate Christmas. Parents will join the kids for the Christmas Carnival, enjoying the fun-filled activities and games.

Preschool Spark celebrates Children’s Day with the kids at its 15000 sq ft sprawling green campusAs Preschool Spark, we celebrate every festival focusing on the significance of the day. Recently, we celebrated Chacha Nehru’s birthday on 14th November 2014 as the Children’s Day. The pleasant weather added to the outdoor celebrations in the garden area. Kids dressed up as Chacha Nehru with the Nehru caps and waist coats. An interactive storytelling session, fun-filled activities, planting saplings and many other activities made this a special one for the kids. They enjoyed the picnic with special delicacies made by their moms for the celebrations!

Age group: 6 months to 13 months. International Association with a 35 year old US-based organization – with expertise in early childhood learning. Program designed around the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Focuses on all round development of the child in a fun and interactive way. Uses an age-appropriate curriculum designed as per international standards. Certified and experienced facilitators. Pre-registration required, as there are limited slots.

The kids will visit an NGO on 16th December (Tuesday) where they will sing Christmas Carols with them and give a gift to them.

The article is about the Parenting Workshop that was hosted by Preschool Spark and facilitated by Dr. Satyam Jain. The article, with an interesting heading, ‘Young Parents Turn Enthusiastic Learners’, talks about the role reversal of the young parents who ‘donned the role of students to learn useful tips for effective grooming of their tiny tots and toddlers’. The parents were extremely happy and many said it was an eye opener for them.

New batch of our International Mother-Child Programs – Giggle Wiggle – was launched in November 2014The program is offered in association with a 35 year old US-based organization, with expertise in designing early years programs as per NAEYC USA and DAP USA standards. This supports child’s overall development in an enjoyable way – nurtures creativity, imagination, social-emotional, linguistic, cognitive and physical development. It is designed around the Theory of Multiple Intelligences – using a wide range of stimuli for the child. New batch launched in November was for the age group of 14 months to 2 years. Programs are being conducted every Tuesday & Thursday, between11 am – 12:30 pm. Pre-registration is required to enroll in these programs as there are limited slots in a batch.
